The Tranzmitors - Bigger Houses, Broken Homes

The Tranzmitors are another one of those so-called Vancouver "supergroups" (seems like everyone over there is sleeping with everyone else's band members) featuring members of The Smugglers, The Strike and the New Town Animals. They take their cue from late 70's pop-punk along the lines of The Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers and The Pointed Sticks... you know, back before pop-punk became a dirty word. As far as I can tell they've only released a few 7"s so far, the most recent of which is available on Deranged Records. It's genuinely addictive stuff with that crisp old-school production sound I can't get enough of. If you enjoyed the last couple of Randy albums then this will be right up your alley.
