Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward will release their second album together, titled simply Volume Two, on March 23rd. Here's the first video from the album, directed by Peyton Reed (Bring It On, The Break-Up).
Her music is a lot better than I expected from actress turned indie rocker. Not sure her voice has enough versatility to keep me for an entire album though. When is the duet going to come with Ben? :) I saw a podcast where he got a little touchy about indie cred: http://vimeo.com/10161960
